Audubon Regional Library is committed to a safe and healthy library environment. The library is following recommended practices of cleanliness and sanitation to ensure the safety, of all employees and our communities' public health.
All library staff are required to wear masks in the public.
Per the Governor's mandate, the library asks patrons to wear masks as well.
All library items are placed in quarantine for 72 hours before being returned back to the shelves.
Curbside pickup is still available for those who are unable to enter the library to checkout books.
Computers have been spaced 6ft apart. All computers are cleaned and sanitized between each patron use. Two computer users are allowed for each thirty minute increment.
Cleaning services clean each library location on a regular basis to ensure a healthy library environment.
Contact surfaces are regularly cleaned and sanitized.
Shields have been placed at all front desks in order to add an additional layer of protection between library staff and patrons.
Library locations have been opened to full capacity. Social distancing marks have been placed on the floors throughout all buildings. Book shelves have been opened to the public.
